Coyotes' New Arena to Boast Impressive Capacity and Amenities

Fixed Seats and Expansion Potential

The Arizona Coyotes have unveiled plans for their new arena in Mesa, which will feature 17,000 fixed seats for NHL games. Additionally, the arena will have the capacity to accommodate approximately 1,500 additional temporary seats.

Legacy of Relocation

The move to Mesa marks the end of the Coyotes' tenure at Gila River Arena in Glendale, where a dispute with the city ultimately led to their departure.

State-of-the-Art Design

The proposed arena will incorporate a modern design and cutting-edge amenities, including: * 17,000 fixed seats * Capacity for 1,500 additional temporary seats * State-of-the-art entertainment and dining options * A vibrant entertainment district

Long-Standing Arena Uncertainty

The Coyotes' arena uncertainty dates back to 2021, when the city of Glendale initially rejected their request for funding for renovations to Gila River Arena. After a dispute and subsequent mediation, the team announced their plans to relocate to Mesa.

Silver Lining in Mullett Arena

While the new arena is still under construction, the Coyotes are currently playing their home games at Mullett Arena in Tempe. Fans can now access tickets and enjoy games at their temporary home.

Entertainment District Expansion

The Coyotes have also released renderings of their planned arena entertainment district adjacent to the new venue. This development will include restaurants, retail stores, and entertainment options, further enhancing the overall experience for fans.
